Q1: How do we set up audio capture in OBS software? Step 1 & Step 2
A: Step 1. Open"Computer Settings"-"Privacy"-"Microphone Privacy Privileges On"-"Allow software (apps) to access your microphone"-"Save".
Step 2. Click“Audio Input Capture" then select “Advanced Audio Properties” and "Monitor and Output".
Q2: How do we set up audio capture in OBS software? Step 3
A: Step 3.In the Windows system, check "Sound settings"-"Recording"-"VC002 Audio"-"Properties-“Listen".lf the “Listen to this device" option is not selected, select it.Then Click “Advanced” to select the “exclusive mode” option and restart the computer.
Q3: If I want to implement the recording/streaming function, do I need to use software such as OBS, potplayer, Vmix, etc?
A: Yes, Please download OBS, Potplayer, Vmix, and other video capture software on your computer before using the USB C capture card. Besides,you need to restart the OBS studio software after the audio setup is complete, otherwise it has no sound output.
Q4: If OBS displays "No Video", how should it be resolved?
A: Please check whether the HDMI cable is connected to the HDMI IN interface of the capture card, and whether the wiring/interface is loose and not plugged in tightly. And Please check whether your device has HDMI output enabled.
Q5: Why can't I use my phone and ipad for video and sound capture?
A: Camera software such as CamX/MoniCon is required for cell phones and iPads to capture.
Q6: Why does the capture card need to download OBS software and use it simultaneously?
A:All capture cards on the market is not a plug and play product. The video signal is transmitted to the computer through the HDMI interface If there is no software for capture, the computer will recognize it as a USB camera and audio device, resulting in the inability to capture audio and video signals. So it is necessary to download software such as OBS for capture.
Q7: If the input device of the capture card is a PC, what settings need to be made for the input device?
A: ① Install OBS software on the PC of input device, and select "Audio Input Capture" through "Sources".
② Then select the “input source PC's microphone” in the device and save it.
③ Search for “Settings” on the OBS software page and click. Find "Advanced" in the "Audio" module and select "Audio device for the capture card" in the "Monitoring Device" section.
④Click“advanced audio properties” and select "Monitor Only (mute output)" in "Audio Input Capture" and "Desktop Audio".
Q8: How to set up if the capture card cannot capture sound?

Q9: How to solve the problem of whistling/sharp sound when the capturecard is connected to the PC?
A: Check the OBS software settings of the input PC and the PC for capture. Open "Advanced audio properties" and change the "microphone/Aux" section to "Monitor Off".
Q10: How should the resolution of the pass- through(loop out)function on the capture card be resolved when it is only 720p or 360p?
A: Actually, the following factors may affect the pass- through(loop out) parameters of the capture card.
Firstly, if the usb interface of the user's own laptop or PC is USB 2.0 specifications rather than usb 3.0 specifications, then the pass- through resolution of the capture card can not reach 1080p, but may only be 720P or 360p.
Secondly, if you do not use the original usb cable of the capture card, the resolution can also be less than 1080p.
Thirdly, the usb cable of the capture card should be directly connected to the computer, and should not be transferred using a conversion cable or other switching devices.
Fourth, If you use a PC(with a computer case) to streaming or recording, it is recommended to connect the capture card to the usb 3.0 interface on the back of the case. Because the power supply will be more stable.
